Cloudflare
The site runs on my own server in the Netherlands and is reached through Cloudflare. Every visit therefore passes through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to serve and protect the site. Cloudflare does this under its standard terms, which include a data processing agreement.
My own server does not store your IP address and keeps no visitor log.
Counting visitors
To see how many people visit the site and which pages they read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, builds no profiles and does not keep your IP address. I only see totals: number of visits, pages, the site you came from, country and device type.
I do this because I want to know whether the site gets read. That is my legitimate interest.
If you email me
If you email me, I only use your name, address and message to reply. I don’t keep the email longer than needed and don’t share it with anyone.
Your rights
You can ask which data I have about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email [email protected] for that. If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
