Why it exists
You see an outfit you like and want to know where the jacket is from. In Loom you post a photo of your outfit and link each piece to the shop that sells it. Anyone looking at the outfit taps a piece and goes straight to the shop.
Your profile is your wardrobe: a collection of looks others can browse. When someone buys through a link it earns a commission, which is shared with the person who posted the outfit.
Where it stands
The app and the backend are there: the feed, posting outfits with their pieces, profiles, following and saving. After that the work moved to what has to happen before a launch, like security, backups and the App Store details.
Since May the project has been on hold, just before the first TestFlight round.
